What ever policies you put in place to manage your organisational road risk you need to make sure you have solid foundations upon which to build.
One of the key elements required to manage risk is buy in from the top down. A company needs to have managers who:
- understand the benefits of effective management
- are willing to manage
- understand they have responsibility to enforce policies
- are able to communicate to workers at all levels of the organisation a clear policy, personal responsibility to adhere to this policy and the consequences for not following this policy.
