I was reading an article this morning in February's FleetWorld by The Insider about air quality. The environment and air quality are important to all of us. Action is required to improve and maintain air quality to avoid more people suffering the effects through respiratory illness. Their are plans for a ultra low emissions zone in London and various other councils are considering what they can do. We should be more aware of the impact the gases we produce from our vehicles are having on the environment, including local residents. However, in reality not everyone can afford to change their vehicles to new, less polluting models. Some have no choice as they drive company vehicles and others are not that bothered. Perhaps there should be a more coherent policy throughout the country to tackle what is already a concern to many of us.
