Tyres need to be checked regularly to make sure they are inflated correctly, are not below the legal tread depth of 1.6mm and there are no signs of obvious damage. Winter is coming and the need to make sure your tyres are up to the job is important. If you are not sure how to check your tyres ask! Buy a tyre pressure and tread depth gauge. Look in your vehicle's manual for the correct tyre pressures. Check your tyres when they are cold. Remember, you can not check tyre pressures by looking at or kicking your tyres!
