I have just read an article which states that more than a quarter of people who were killed in road accidents in 2017 were not wearing a seat belt according to the Dft.
Out of the 1,793 people killed in 2017, 27% were not wearing seat belts. That is 484 people.
This is unbelievable and begs the question why are people not wearing their seat belts?
Of those 484 people, how many would still be alive today if they had chosen to wear their seat belt?
