We should all know that using a mobile phone is not allowed when we are driving. So why do I see at least 2 to 3 drivers with their mobile phones stuck to their ears each day!!!!
Hands free, legal but safe to use? Research shows how you are 4 x more likely to be involved in a road traffic incident when you are using your hands free. Does this statistic potentially apply to you ? Or is it more nonsense that we read and can forget because we are able to drive just as well using hands free. We can still pay attention to the road and have a conversation! But can you?
Think abut this......How many times have you been on the hands free and lost track of your journey. Becoming aware of where you are but wondering where the last ten minutes have gone? Have you ever missed your turning whilst using hands free? The answer for most of us, if we are honest, is yes.
So now think. What if someone had stepped out in front of your vehicle. Would you have stopped?
