This morning I was watching the news covering the trials of driverless cars which are commencing in several parts of the country. They featured an open top vehicle which will be used to take tourists on short trips in parts of the capital. Mention was also made of smaller vehicles which will be used to transport shoppers in Milton Keynes. Apparently this technology may become more a reality in around 10 years time.
I am not sure what I think. Personally, I cannot see driverless vehicles taking over for many years. Whilst there is a clear advantage for some drivers, I for one enjoy driving. Are you a fan of driverless cars? Let me know what think.
