There are lots of legislation/Acts covering a companies duty to effectively manage risk. No problem on the shop floor were machines are kept well serviced, have appropriate guards protecting their users from moving parts. Workers are trained to use the machinery and wear personal protection equipment. The walls are covered with health and safety posters, there are shift supervisors and manager making sure things run smoothly. But what about anyone who drives to and from work? What about anyone who drives on behalf of the company? What additional training is provided to keep these drivers safe? Hang on....their only driving. So what?
