Interesting research report which shows that the mpg manufacturers claim for their vehicles are very different from the mpg we actually get. I think we have always known this. However, it appears that the time and effort manufacturers spend on creating the right lab conditions to improve their vehicle's test performance may now be under more scrutiny. I don't know about you, but I would rather know the real mpg and CO2 output when considering my next car purchase. For companies, accurate information is vital.
